Presentations

Over the last 20 years, I have been invited to teach more than 100 times on the topics of impact, assessment, and treatment of trauma to audiences across the nation, ranging in size from five to over 1,000. The audiences have included police agencies, the FBI, graduate school classes, Planned Parenthood, and many district attorney’s offices. I have spoken at many trauma-centered conferences and served as a plenary speaker at the National District Attorney’s Association Conference. Finally, I regularly train JAG Core students at military justice schools across the U.S. and have helped train the defense and prosecuting attorneys of every branch of the U.S. military, at length, on the topics of trauma, including child and adult sexual abuse and intimate partner violence.
